4. 4G/5G alternative

In fibre-less zones: 4G router (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar) — 30-80 Mbit real, 25-45 AZN/mo, 200-500 GB pack. 5G — 100-300 Mbit, 40-65 AZN/mo. But latency is 2-3× higher than fibre — noticeable in professional Zoom calls. Only a stopgap.

5. Home network — Wi-Fi 6

Fibre arrived — but on a 240 m² villa one router is not enough. Mesh system (Netgear Orbi, TP-Link Deco) 2-3 nodes — 380-950 AZN, 200+ Mbit in every room. Underfloor-heated houses should have backup CAT6 wiring to 3-4 spots — plan it at design stage.

Internet tariffs — 2026

«Internet available» means nothing on its own. For a 2026 remote-working buyer, 200 Mbit fibre moves the villa price. Without fibre a villa sells 8-15% below market.
